I took my SCP today and passed! I truly do not think that I could have passed without taking your instructor lead training online. You are such an amazing human being and a person to take inspiration from. You are extremely supportive of your students and give an abundance of positivity that’s 100% required to pass this exam.
You entered my mind after the lack of confidence in myself crept in when I hit the 80% mark of the test. You would be so proud. I finished the first section of the test with 25 minutes to spare and I didn’t flag a single question because every single one of them that I answered I did off of my gut. Once I got to the second part and like I mentioned the 80% mark I started taking way too long to answer questions and kept debating through multiple options and started forgetting all the tips you gave us in class to overcome the anxiety of test taking. I crossed out answers that were obviously ridiculous and flagged ones that I needed to come back to and really made sure I was understanding what the question was asking me and what the facts were in order to get the best answer.

I attended your Online SHRM class and passed the CP exam earlier this week. Although I oversee a number of Full and Part time staff through various roles, coming from a soccer background, the HR world is somewhat alien to me. The Executive Director and HR Director at work had suggested I take the certification to meet a developmental need and as part of a longer term succession plan. I came in to this learning process very green with eyes wide open. A large component of my role is Adult Education, and I enjoyed observing your interactions with the group and was impressed by the candor and connectivity you were able to sustain without the use of video. Although it’s unlikely I’ll ever be employed in corporate HR, I took a lot from the course and your teaching, particularly with regard to the rationale and process for ethical decision making. It was easy to understand, very appealing and in general, just amazing. I did not take the exam in first window, I’ve rescheduled to this time and I took it today. It was not easy but I hope I made it. Your voice was with me for the past 2 weeks non stop, all day long. I’ve listen to you while preparing breakfast for my kids, while driving to work, at work, on my way back home and in the evenings. 😂😅 even my kids were recognizing you - oh mommy Mike again 😂 pure craziness but I’ve loved every minute of it ! There was feedback window at the end on the test and I just wrote that I love you, of course no matter the test results. Thank you again !
